Conservation Camps connect children to nature by exploring the biodiversity in their own backyard! These bi-weekly forest visits allow youth to interact with local MBP lemur guides, learn about their work, and see lemurs up close. This unique experience fosters a special bond between kids and nature. When Malagasy children and teachers discover the treasures their country holds, they are more likely to protect them.

Studies show that understanding nature fosters compassion and action. Children in Kianjavato aspire to be chosen for these adventures, which inspire a lifelong interest in conservation. Since 2010, Conservation Fusion has hosted over 301 Conservation Camps, creating lasting memories for 1,204 local teachers and more than 6,020 students.

By sponsoring a Conservation Camp, you’re helping to build the next generation of conservation leaders, protecting Madagascar’s unique biodiversity and creating hope for the future.
